Who We Are

America's Boating Club Charlotte (also known as Charlotte Power Squadron) is a unit within District 27 of the United States Power Squadrons, America’s Boating Club, which is the nation’s premiere boating education, boater safety and fraternal boating club. Chartered in 1961, our local organization has over 64 years experience promoting safe boating. Our Mission is to make Boating safe and fun!

Most members joined America's Boating Club - Charlotte to learn boating skills but stayed for the friendships. Our club offers a variety of monthly events throughout the year like parties, picnics, on-the-water events, civic activities and general meetings. Members have access to on- and off-the-water activities, cruises and rendezvous, learning opportunities, boating mentors and hands-on boating courses.
